WexBug was established to represent the interests of cyclists and to promote cycling as a sustainable form of active transport in County Wexford.
WexBUG’s mission is to be the pre-eminent voice for community cycling in Wexford. We are dedicated to the promotion of bike riding as a driving force for individual health & well-being, and the empowerment of sustainable development. WexBUG is party political agnostic and we are happy to work with councillors and other politicians who share our vision for safe cycling.
What we do
WexBUG was established to represent the interests of cyclists and to promote cycling as a sustainable form of active transport in County Wexford. We represents all people who use bicycles to get around, for any reason; the commuter, the student, the exerciser etc.
Our Mission
To act as a non-governmental organisation for purposes which are beneficial to the community and to be a local voice in promoting cycling as an integral part of the transport system, and as an enjoyable, healthy, low-cost and environmentally-friendly activity in its own right.
Get Involved
Free Wexford Bicycle User Group membership is available to all Co. Wexford residents, we encourage everyone to get involved. As a member you will have a say in how our group operates and what improvements to Co. Wexford’s cycle network we will lobby for.
